Update for Our AAWC Friends and Family March 26, 2021
We love caring for your beloved pet. We do what we do to make a difference in the lives of others. Your patience, understanding, and support over this past year have made such a difference and we want to say THANK YOU!
COVID-19 brought about many challenges to our lives. We are grateful you have continued to choose us to provide veterinary care to your family. We have truly missed seeing you in our hospital with your pet. Your presence and our face-to-face interactions with you and your pet make all the difference in our day.
With the recent reduction in the number of COVID cases in Arizona, the number of people vaccinated against COVID, and the recent changes in state and local mandates we will be shifting our focus on reopening our doors to see you and your pet in our office as of May 2021. We will be monitoring changes in the health of our community as businesses in our community also begin to reopen. We will be providing this care in a safe and structured manner while still following federal / state / local and CDC guidelines, along with federal and state veterinary board recommendations. As a family-owned business, we make this choice as safely as we can for our community, our team members, and their families. This choice includes social distancing, requiring a mask over the nose and mouth, limiting the number of people in the examination room (due to difficulty in social distancing), and rigorous cleaning protocols. We will also require individuals who have signs of COVID or are positive for COVID to please stay home.
We have focused on safety for our community, our patients, our team, and our families from day one and we will continue to keep this at the forefront as we move forward. In addition to providing in-hospital examinations, in a limited capacity, starting in May, we will also be providing care through concierge curbside care, virtual appointments that allow you to be present in the exam room through a video portal, telemedicine for those who want to receive care from the comfort of their own home as well as the ability to admit your pet for care for the day.
We want to ensure you have a choice in how your pet receives care that works best for you and your pet. We will do everything we can to make this work based on your schedule needs. We are grateful for your patience as we navigate the reopening of our doors to you and your family, and value your feedback. Please keep an eye and ear out for updates via email, website, and Social Media. In the meantime, we are here to care for your pet through continued concierge curbside care and telemedicine options. Thank you for being such a valued part of the amazing pet community that we serve and love.
