Our hospital spends thousands of dollars every year on pets in need, as well as partnering with rescue groups for reduced-cost veterinary care. AAWC created the Good Sam Fund in partnership with the Veterinary Care Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, in order to expand our efforts to help pets in need.

 

How the Funds Are Used 
The Good Sam Fund is available to stray pets being treated at AAWC. Our Good Sam Fund donations are generally restricted to the following:

• Funding for Good Samaritan cases

• Funding for abandoned pets

• Emergency and medical care for lost or injured pets

• Care for pets harmed or displaced by natural disasters

 

When you make a donation to the Good Sam Fund, 100% of your tax-deductible gift will support the care of stray pets in need. You can choose to donate to the cause or to donate towards a specific pet's care.
