Puppies & Kittens

Congratulations on your new puppy or kitten! The doctors and team at Arizona Animal Wellness Center are anxious to meet your newest addition to your family. We can help you choose a wellness plan that will help your new pet to grow in optimal health. Your pet’s spay or neuter is not included in the wellness plan, however we reduce the cost for this service for any pet enrolled in a wellness plan. Also, if Arizona Animal Wellness Center spays or neuters your pet, we will provide a complementary microchip and include enrollment in the HomeAgain microchip plan. This is a substantial savings as well as a priceless way of making sure your pet is returned to you if lost. Please contact our hospital for an estimate of these services.

Puppy Plan

The Arizona Animal Wellness Center Comprehensive Puppy Plan for New Puppies Includes:

  • First Visit - Usually done at 6-9 Weeks of Age

    • Junior Wellness Examination/Consultation

    • DA2PP Vaccine

    • Fecal Parasite Examination

    • Deworming

    • Puppy Pack with Diet Sample

  • Second Visit - Usually done at 9-12 Weeks of Age

    • Junior Wellness Examination/Consultation

    • DA2PP Vaccine

    • 2nd Fecal Parasite Examination

    • Deworming

    • Bordetella/Kennel Cough Intranasal Vaccine

    • Heartworm Preventative - single dose

  • Third Visit - Usually done at 12-15 Weeks of Age

    • Junior Wellness Examination/Consultation

    • DA2PP Vaccine

    • Bordetella/Kennel Cough Injectable Vaccine

    • Heartworm Preventative - single dose

  • Fourth Visit - Usually done at 15-18 Weeks of Age

    • Junior Wellness Examination/Consultation

    • DA2PP Vaccine

    • Rabies Vaccine - 1 year vaccine

    • Six Month Heartworm Preventative

If needed, a fifth examination may be done for a Parvo booster in certain breeds and age categories of puppies. The fifth booster, if needed, is included in the program. The visits are personalized depending upon your pet’s needs.

Kitten Plan

The Arizona Animal Wellness Center Comprehensive Kitten Plan for New Kittens Includes:

  • First Visit - Usually done at 6-9 Weeks of Age

    • Junior Wellness Examination/Consultation

    • FELV/FIV Test - 1st or 2nd Visit

    • FVRCP Vaccine

    • Fecal Parasite Examination

    • Deworming

    • Ear Mite Check

    • Kitten Pack with Diet Sample

  • Second Visit - Usually done at 9-12 Weeks of Age

    • Junior Wellness Examination/Consultation

    • FVRCP Vaccine

    • FELV Vaccine

    • Deworming

    • First Dose of Revolution - is a topical liquid medication which is used for flea prevention, heartworm prevention, and the prevention and control of ear mites, sarcoptic mange and roundworms

  • Third Visit - Usually done at 12-15 Weeks of Age

    • Junior Wellness Examination/Consultation

    • FVRCP Vaccine

    • FELV Vaccine

    • Second Dose of Revolution

  • Fourth Visit - Usually done at 15-18 Weeks of Age

    • Junior Wellness Examination/Consultation

    • Rabies Feline - 1 Year

    • Revolution - 3 Month Supply
