February is Dental Month! Arizona Animal Wellness Center is committed to providing the most compassionate care available. In support of that commitment we are offering a dental month discount to all of our patients who have a complete dental procedure performed during the month of February. This includes a complimentary set of “full mouth dental x-rays”. This commitment reduces the cost of a dental procedure for your pet by more than $100.00.
Some Dental Facts about your pet’s teeth:
- 80% of dogs and cats have dental disease by the time they are 3 years old.
- Dental disease can cause permanent serious damage to your pet’s heart, kidneys and liver.
- We tend to assume our pets “slow down” as part of a normal aging process. In reality your pet may be suffering from oral pain due to dental disease, fractured or loose teeth and oral abscesses.
- Many pets never show signs of oral pain or discomfort to their families until dental disease becomes very serious. Pets feel pain but they may show it in very subtle ways.
- The use of full mouth radiographs is one of the most critical ways in finding teeth that are causing your pet pain and should always be performed as part of a thorough dental therapy by a veterinary professional.
